This policy covers account access, checkout readiness, product access, Discord account linking, support, analytics, logs, preview access, and public site features. ## Data we collect MCAssets may process account data such as email address, username, display name, first name, last name, avatar, authentication method, session metadata, and linked Discord account state. Checkout and customer flows may process product selections, payment identifiers, Dodo customer identifiers, receipt status, refund status, customer email, and legal name details needed for payment and legal records. Local browser features may store cart, wishlist, anonymous analytics identifiers, cookie notice state, and preview-access state. Server logs may include safe operational metadata such as route, status, timing, product IDs, payment IDs, refund IDs, and viewer IDs. ## How we use data MCAssets uses data to operate accounts, verify checkout readiness, provide product access, process payments and refunds, sync Discord customer roles, prevent abuse, improve reliability, answer support requests, and maintain security. MCAssets does not need card details to provide the storefront. Payment card details are handled by the configured payment provider. ## Cookies and analytics MCAssets uses necessary cookies for account sessions, preview access, security, and service operation. These cookies are required for the site to function. MCAssets also uses PostHog analytics in deployed environments for page views, page leaves, autocapture, heatmaps, anonymous visitor measurement, and signed-in user identification. The cookie notice tells visitors that cookies and analytics are used; PostHog loads immediately under the current product decision. ## Third-party providers MCAssets uses service providers for authentication, email delivery, analytics, payments, hosting, database, cache, storage, logs, Discord integrations, and security operations. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services, comply with law, protect the platform, or support customer requests. ## Discord integrations If you link Discord, MCAssets may use your linked Discord account state to sync customer roles after purchases, refunds, or account-linking events. Discord role sync failures are retried when possible and are logged without exposing shared secrets, raw access tokens, or unnecessary customer details. ## Retention and security MCAssets keeps data for as long as needed for the service purpose, legal obligations, payment records, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, support, and security. MCAssets uses access controls, secure hosting, least-necessary logging, secret redaction, and provider controls to reduce the risk of unauthorized access or disclosure. ## Your rights Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data about you. Some payment, tax, fraud, security, and legal records may need to be retained even after an account request.
